Transition dinghy: brief description

The Transition Dinghy
is a small, transportable sailing craft designed primarily for enjoyment. It has an innovative folding rig that is easily deployed and used, and equally easily folded down into the hull when not required. There is no need for assembly or dismantling of rig components during these changes. This arrangement maximises sailing time and facilitates transportation. The dinghy can be sailed single-handed or two-up, and although aimed at newcomers to sailing, it can be readily upgraded for those wishing to learn skills associated with higher-performance sailing. It will be mostly used inshore and on lakes, reservoirs, and estuaries.
