This 2 sq metre rig is being prepared as the first Transition product. Two versions are currently being tested in prototype form:

• A rig that is unfolded first using both hands and then dropped into position in the craft

• This rig is pivoted from a rotating base and can be raised or folded in situ using only one hand

• Three prototype canoe/kayak rigs being tested on a dinghy, November 2002

• Two-handed rig being tested on a sailing kayak, April 2003

• Canoe with two-handed rig and transition outriggers, September 2003
