3 Finishing touches

August 2006

bullet laying out the components of the rudder stock
bullet positioning the two pulleys for the ropes that will lift and lower the rudder blade
bullet the second side of the rudder stock is glued in place
bullet the tiller tube is added
bullet the pivot pins are added
bullet four layers of glass fibre cloth plus resin are applied to strengthen the stock and its attachment to the tiller
bullet after painting, the two control ropes are attached to the rudder blade
bullet the rudder is assembled
bullet the rudder and centreboard are fitted to the hull (underside view)
bullet the centreboard is shown partially retracted
